Running Stitch & Backstitch

Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer. Objective:   I can recall a running stitch and complete a back stitch by the end of the period Agenda: Review bell ringer  Thread needles and knot Review:  Running stitch  Complete:  Running stitch on stitch chart Demo:  Back stitch Complete:  Back stitch on stitch chart Homework:   None! Bell ringer:   The first step in completing a running stitch, where must you thread the needle through?  (Through the back of the felt or through the front?) Why? *DO NOT take your bins to your table, just grab your project bag at the start of class everyday*
