Equipment Quiz & Deep Clean!

Objective:  I will be able to understand the 6 nutrients and how food affects the brain Agenda: 1. Food Truck Wars!

Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer. Objective:   I can understand how to create a menu and understand the importance of researching concepts for a business Agenda: Complete and review bell ringer Google Classroom Assignment: Food Truck Wars! You have the entire period to create your food truck. Directions are listed on google classroom! Bell Ringer: Why is it important to follow the rules while working in the kitchens?? What do we do well in our cooking labs and what could we improve on?

Objective:  I will be able to understand the basics kitchen equipment and proper measuring by the end of the period Standard 7.02:  Understands and applies basics of nutrition Agenda: Go over bell ringer and pass out activity Discuss measuring lab activity-- 4 minutes at each station Demo how to measure (Dry, Liquid, and Measuring Spoons) and stations Turn and talk! Did you finish the whole assignment on time? How comfortable do you feel measuring wet and dry ingredients? What is the difference between measuring wet and dry ingredients?
